I LOVE POTATO :) :) haha as in not the whipped or baked kind. i love the golden retriever potato at the spca. Hahah, although she's pretty violent. i had much fun at spca today :) thank you melinda and eleanor for teaching me wad to do. after clearing the smelly kennels, i cuddled up with cherie and potato (the two golden retrievers there). at first i went to visit bobo who LOVES to jump. but i forgot i was wearing slippers and bobo LOVES slippers. so i almost tore up my slipper just going in...or rather, trying to come out. luckily i didnt try moo ping. :P all the dogs are so gorgeous. but i especially love potato cuz she's always so happy to see me. and she doesnt like me to leave the kennel. she'd hug on to my leg, like kiko. but kiko abit scarier. when i was gonna go, she didnt let me by hugging on tight and her paws scratched my legs. but she was good when i told her to sit. :) I LOVE MISS POTATO AND IM GONNA SEE ALL OF EM TMR!!! my leg is now bruised by the scratches. amazing how much strength that potato has.

yesterday i went to church to meet yeow hwa chuan dao (pastor loo). he was really nice. we chatted for like 4 hours and ate yummy chicken biskits. (im serious, biskits are spelt like that on the cover). it was really enlightening. :) thank God for blessing me with this time with Pastor Loo and learning things about Him. :) yay!

i forgot to say i went to causeway point tomeet nalan after doggie time. of course i changed clothes. then we ate kfc and i went to vivo to visit my dear ex colleagues. Nana gave me a HUGE hug when i got there. Missed her and so many others so much. had an itchy feeling to go back. but oh well.. :)

we met at jurong east after his lecture at discovery centre. then we had our lunch at long john silver's. my botak boy's head is very nice to touch!! hahaha. he was dressed in his army uniform = handsome. but army uniform also = see no touch, cannot hold hands. hahah, after that he went to my house and we slacked around, played com and watched 881. i never thought i'd watch 881 but i saw the dvd lying around so just picked it up and watched it. we slept for a while too cuz he was really super tired. then he sent me to marina bay for steamboat with the 3 lovely ladies + a not so lovely jo HAHA KIDDING. but marina bay was closed so we went to seoul garden at marina square.

i love to spend wonderful time with the people. we talked all about working life and my tai tai life. about EVERYTHING under the sun. and of course about our triple date. HOR JO AND SIMNA?? :) :) will be going out with nalan and simna on tues i think. and with the rest of the lovelies on thurs. hope cheryl can make it :)

Went out with my love today. we met outside tangs and went for lunch in taka. then watched 27 dresses. it's AWESOME. love love LOVE katherine hiegl. (nalan, i want watch it again so dun worry. hahaha i'll still watch it with u guys!!) i love her facial expressions :) and she's so pretty. anyway, after the movie, we had our dinner at imperial treasure. my bf wasn't feeling so good. he was down with a cold and sprained his ankle. but he was still really sweet accompanying me out. after that, we walked around singapore river and clarke quay. sat on the bench and talked about his ns life and my enviable tai tai lifestyle.

he was sweet to massage my head cuz i had a headache in the morning. he fell asleep in my lap after that. LOL. piggy.

he told me he'd let me to find a job or remain jobless as long as im happy. he doesnt care about anything else. he said he'd provide me with what i need :) so sweet. :) daddy wanted to give me a few hundred thousand to try starting up a business myself. hmm, but im not sure if i can manage but he just said to try. i'll see how. so risky. haha. after that he wanted to send me home but i didnt let him cuz he wasnt feeling good. and we live like super far from one another. i LOVE him :) love the time spent with my botak boy. :) :)

can't wait for tmr cuz i can see my army boy. can't wait for tues to meet them (tentatively). can't wait for wednesday for volunteering and maybe going out with sis. can't wait for thursday for volunteering and manicure + pedicure and kboxing throughout the night with the lovelies. :) :)

today im going shopping with my sister. ALL PEOPLE, i wanna watch 27 dresses and PS. I LOVE YOU. 27 dresses has my all time favourite katherine hiegl. and PS I LOVE YOU is such a great book by ceclia ahern i actually cried while reading it. so im sure the movie would be great too, if it doesnt destroy the essence of the book :) soo, these are the shows im gonna watch. but im afraid theaters screening PS I LOVE YOU would be packed cuz it's first debut is on Valentine's Day.

i just rejected a job offer ytd although the commission is sky high. like a few hundred for 3 hours.

i went out with my sis again the previous day. we watched dan in real life. it kinda sucked. it wasnt funny at all. in fact, it made me feel really sad for him. so much for a show that'd make us laugh. i bought a pretty scarf and a skull cap for him to cover his bald hairless head (erm, no only the skull cap for him. not the pretty scarf). i love e f21 jacket i bought too. it's yummylicious.

actually i forgot to thank someone else. xinran. thanks for emailing me immediately after i sounded a little upset and went offline. thanks for trying to cheer me up with silly comments :)

thank you nalan for listening to me rant the other day. im feeling much better. i listened to darling's advice and quitted my job. now im a slacker at home. haha not that im not enjoying it. i slack but still get money to shop for all the clothes i want :) :) (spoilt biatch haha)

thank you to my hubby :) :) you're so sweet. thank you for being that one person who listens to me rant, vent and complain non stop. thank you for being that one person who comforts me when im a cry baby and who laughs with me (or at me). thank you for doing all those sweet sweet things like calling me and changing at the same time even when you're given only two mins to change in army. for always making me talk to you about how i really feel about us. thank you for being such a sweet sensitive awesome boyfriend. im glad we know each other so thoroughly even though we've only been tgt for a year plus. it's like one look from me and you know what im thinking. we do have our fair share of arguments (eg makoto...thinking of it makes me laugh) but we always end up apologizing to each other. im glad we dont have an argument that lasts over a night. cuz you'd want to settle it before we sleep. thank you for forcing me never to keep anything to myself. you made me feel comfortable with calling you in the wee hours when i had a nightmare or telling you outright that im unhappy with something. it's like i know i can pour everything out to you and you'd listen :) SWEET BF!

thank you to my darling sister. :) i know sometimes i dont really show that i treasure you. but i really do. last time when i come home from work, im so tired i plop on the sofa and expect to be served. and you really do. you take food for me, drinks for me. all i had to do was sit on the sofa and turn on the scv. then u give my smelly legs massages too (HAHA THEY ARENT SMELLY K??). and stay up late to watch tv with me. you're right. sometimes when things are there, we dont really appreciate it. it's like a maze. a mirror maze. except that you see different kinds of reflections. in some mirrors there are the smiling reflections, in others, there are the crying ones, the angry ones, the determined ones, the haughty ones. everything is not going smoothly now. my job and volunteering exhausts me. my friends, well...i dont know. i really dont know. and some part of me doesnt want to know. it's amazing how one can feel so close, yet so far. so similar, yet so different. ytd, what i said was really from within me. it bothers me alot more than it seems. and it's been bottled up for a long long time.

sometimes, amidst these exhausting heartwrenching moments, i wonder if i should give up. on everything. like friends and work. he said he wanted me to quit because he felt i was really tired at the end of the day. which is true. my legs would be numb, my back would ache and my soles feel worn out. that's what walking on nice pretty shoes for close to 10 hours a day do to you. he said he would support me even if it means him moonlighting in geylang. of course he was kidding. but it touched me. at least, i never felt someone care so much about me before. except my family. sometimes i wonder, why this job. if i want to earn money, why not work at my dad's company. the pay there is 3439847392487 times this current pay. but isn't it the easy way out?? but doing the math, it's really more worth it. or maybe i shouldnt do anything anymore and let my bf and my dad feed me. sounds like a spoilt child.

im too tired to care about anything anymore. i love my family and my boyfriend. :) they give me strength to go on. for the rest, im lost. just like everyone else.

Im feeling much better now :) today is my second off day :) yesterday i went shopping with my sis. i bought accessories. i bought a choker for my sister and she bought me two pairs of earrings (gold and silver). i went to make a g-mask for my phone as well. now it looks pretty!!! :) :) today im going for a massage at shaw centre :) hahahaha something i've been needing for a long long time. ytd, he called me and we chatted for almost half an hour :) he's coming out next week!! i'll try to change my off day so that we can go out one whole day together :) :) i havent been upset in a long time until the day before. i shall not allow anyone to have the ability to make me unhappy. :) except those i really treasure luh :) :)

fashion tip of the day (for the plus sized): dress in all one colour to enlongate your body. add on a longer jacket to hide large bottom. bags are impt as well. squarey bags fit fuller figures. ensure that the end of the bag does not end at the area you wish to hide as it will lead attention to the problem area (eg, your butt). clothings to avoid: lighter coloured clothings, clothes with puffy sleeves and layered clothes. Lighter coloured clothings gives the illusion of an even fuller figure while darker colours introduces a sleekness to the body. puffy sleeves cause the arm to look bigger. layered clothes are possible provided everything is kept thin (as in e material). you dont want to add on to the bulk. for shoes, heels are good. it lengthens the body :) AVOID clingy fabrics that wrap around you tightly.

darling called me again ytd :) :) we talked for around 15 mins, which is like the longest i have talked to him while he was in ns cuz in ns you have very little free time on your own. hmm.. then ytd, i bought some stuff again. :) was shopping around during break time. i bought bangles from aldo worth 35 bucks. then i bought a cosmetic sharpener and glittery eyeliner from MAC worth 33 bucks. :)

i shopped like mad today, hopping from one stall to another. haha, mom and sis bought quite a number of things too. so happy i can finally spend some precious time with them. and i realised far east sells really cheap stuff!! like where else can you find pumps for 19.90. and they actually look pretty good. but somehow, after working in f21 for some time, i find e clothes there nicer. :P it's like, when i help pack their clothes, i'd go like "grrr shit, i wanna buy this". i havent gone to far east for a long time. mostly have been going to vivo and wisma and city hall. okok, for those of u who dont know, i work at forever 21 at vivo city.

gotta go look up some stuff. it's pretty hard to get from my house in bukit timah to spca. i've went there a few times luh...but i've always gone with him. so tmr im gonna do it alone :) :) be strong!! :D anw, i like myself now. i haven't felt upset in a long long time. i like interacting with people but i like being alone and independent sometimes too. i love my work cuz it's interacting with the customers and the staff cuz our shop is super big. that's why i dun like admin cuz there's less interaction. i was actually offered a job that gives $1800 a month but nahh. i'll stick with this. anw, money isn't everything. :) :) i rather do something i really enjoy. i enjoy giving customers fashion opinions. :)

helloo!! it's finally my offday. :) which reminds me, thank you darling's mom for coming down to my workplace that day to visit me (so sweeet) . although i kinda disappointed you cuz i couldnt take leave on wed to send him off with you guys :(.

so how's my life? it's pretty good so far. i've learnt ALOT of things i never knew about fabrics. i never even knew acryllic was a fabric. i never knew linen came from trees. lol. and the people there are really funny...well, except when they start speaking malay. haha. cuz i have no idea what they're talking about. there was once the speakers were playing "i got it from my mama"

I just reached home from seeing a doctor. had my heart prob again. but im alright now. will still be going to work tomorrow...which is pretty sad cuz i wanted to send darling off to NS. i did a little farewell today for him. bought a cake for him with a candle haha. yep. but he was sweeter :) he bought a MYLO for me. the big one. okay if you guys dont know who is mylo, you're missing out on the CUTEST soft toy in the world!!! he left it in my room while he was at my house. :) so sweet. i have to work till late tmr but im still gonna travel halfway around singapore to wait under his block tmr morning :) SHHH, it's a surprise. :P
hmm, anyway, i havent been updating these few days cuz i've been too busy and too tired. my legs feel slimmer. HAHAH. everytime i come home i have to remove my heavy make up which is a BOTHER. :( the thing i look forward to most is darling sending me to and fetching me from work :) but im not gonna have that for quite some time.
friendster is so over. but facebook is becoming super boring.

Anw, more about my work life...
work is tiring...but it is quite fun :) the pple there are really super nice and not the least fake. ya-ya, latin cabbage, rosy butt, fizah, azzam, ming, mindy, lynnco, siti, ziling, angeline and many many more. thank you all for showing me the ropes and being super patient in guiding me. im still a little confused but more or less getting used to it. time flies when im at work, maybe cuz we're in the shopping centre so cannot really tell if it's day or night. weekends are super crowded and we have to have staggered lunch times. im proud to announce that sunday was the first time i ate alone in a crowded shopping centre. im usually crowd-phobic. :P our sales are always like 20-30K a day. so it's like wow!

haha. anw, my darling has been so so sweet everyday. he sends me to work every morning after we have our early lunch then goes to the gym or goes home. then at night, he waits near my working place to pick me up. we'll go supper or watch a late night movie cuz i end around 11 at night.

talking about missing, i miss you gurls! hope our offdays would clash and we can go out :)

hellosss. (: watched national book of treasures today with him. this is probably one of the last times we can spend so much time together before he goes into ns. i started to look for a job today and i found one (really lucky). lol. i shant let anyone except my close frens know where im working :P it's to do with the fashion industry :) it's not the pay but the knowledge and skill of interacting that im focusing on developing. and the pay is pretty okay. it's average ba. i probably wont be able to spend weekends with my darling but what keeps us away wont keep us apart :) or whatever.
Im starting work tmr and my volunteering job at spca has an orientation on the 12th of jan. so i'll be volunteering in the mornings and working in the afternoon till night..most probably. the volunteering schedule is not confirmed yet.
so anw, halfway through the movie, kt had to leave cuz he had to deal with his new terrace's renovations. so i finished watching the MORE exciting bits haha and then headed to kap to return the rented dvds and vcds. then walked to buy dinner for my mom and sis before walking home in the rain. so romantic (me and the packets of food romancing in the rain) :)

he came over to my house today to slack for a bit then we went out to suntec to eat pepper lunch. after that, we went to pan pacific hotel to book a room for the countdown. pan pacific was one of the few hotels that wasn't fully booked. the upper floors were all fully booked so we had to settle for one of the deluxe rooms instead of the panoramic rooms :( cost was about 400 bucks including tax

Me and my sis went to pan pacific to check in first. then we met kt there :) :) we went up to our room on the 8th floor :)

after settling in, the three of us went swimming :) :) it was really fun cuz kt piggybacked and carried me and my sis together in the water.

three of us went to m sq for dinner and then set off for carrefour at suntec to buy tidbits and spray ribbons. o yes, before that, we took a few pan pacific balloons from the hotel and "decorated" our room. after buying alot of things, kt bought a cup of gelato and we shared it. i love spending time with the both of them. we returned to the hotel and waited for eric to come. played some games while waiting. :) i rented some movies: final destination 3, alone and finding nemo! we watched final destination when eric came. then we watched e fireworks from the balcony!! :)

we played volleyball with the balloons, sprayed each other silly with ribbons and played heart attack! it was really fun with them, a perfect way to spend the countdown!!

after checking out, we went to watch alien vs predator cuz eric likes those kind of shows :P. but me and kt were neutral abt it. it was gross cuz i dun like robots and metallic aliens :(. after that, we split up and kt brought me to eat at imperial treasure la mian xiao long bao. :) he sent me home after that. upon reaching home, me and my sis had to go out again to celebrate the "be-early" dad's bdae. :) we dined at a jap restaurant then went home to play mahjongg! :) :)

darling going to book in on 9th jan :( so im going to spend the rest of the days with him! ;) :)
